Higher level disclosure applications (standard, enhanced and PVG) must be counter signed by either a registered body or umbrella body before they are submitted to Disclosure Scotland.

Basic level disclosure applications can be processed and counter signed by a registered body, umbrella body or directly from Disclosure Scotland.

Disclosure Scotland aims to complete 90% of applications within 14 working days. It can take longer if there are any errors or queries.

Once you have ordered a disclosure check from MacLeod Scott Disclosures, you will need to pay according to the schedule below:

Disclosure Scotland Fee: PVG Membership £59. PVG Update £18. Basic, Standard and Enhanced £25

MacLeod Scott Disclosures Counter Signatory Fee: £25.00+vat

The counter signatory fee is non-refundable. We can refund the Disclosure Scotland fee if you cancel an order before we send it to Disclosure Scotland and in circumstances when Disclosure Scotland may cancel an application.
